More like just plain wrong. Holyfield record at Cruiserweight was 18-0, 14 ko's. Light punching he was not
I agree with G , holfield was considered a big puncher at CW , Cunningham was never a puncher.
Holyfield also dropped Mercer , and Bowe , and Tyson , and Douglas , Evander hit way harder than Cunnigham.

Are you agreeing that Holyfield was a puncher and Cunnigham isnt ?
Re: Cunningham plans to appeal Fury Forearm and force rematch
During the interview Steve was not complaining and took the defeat like a man. I think his management, his wife, made the silly decision to whine and complain. Stupid move.
Re: Cunningham plans to appeal Fury Forearm and force rematch
I've said it already.
The punch wasn't needed, Cunningham was out on his feet, it was a matter of time before he was stopped or retired.
However the actual punch that stopped him was illegal.
So bitch move or not, it's fair by the rules of boxing that he's granted a rematch.

The punch wasnt ilegal. Maybe the pushing of the forearm but they didnt happen at the same time. The ref was there to make that decision at the time.
Cunningham couldnt take the power. Fury fought like a twat and dug himself in a hole but hes a fighter and climbed out that hole and pushed Cunningham in deep. A rematch, Fury will box smarter. Al it does for Cunningham is give him another pay day. Fury will move on to Pulev and improve yet again while Haye and Price look on in jealousy that Fury has genuinely worked his way up and is the most talked about heavyweight in the world.
Re: Cunningham plans to appeal Fury Forearm and force rematch
I must admit i thought it was a bit of a dirty tactic while watching it...but come to think of what other fighters have got away with its not worth the appeal
Re: Cunningham plans to appeal Fury Forearm and force rematch
I doubt Cunningham could last 8 rounds in a rematch, never mind win.
When no one wants to watch a re-match
As with most BS in boxing it is just publicity.
Re: Cunningham plans to appeal Fury Forearm and force rematch
I respect holyfield for standing toe to toe with bowe and not getting tired unlike Cunningham.
