He should fight garciaand Peterson.
Backwards step or not, the majority of fighters would want revenge after a viscious knockout like that.
If khan had rematched prescott and beat him he might have had a comfidence that would have got him alot further than he is now.
Khans done so much. I believe he has overachieved due to his punch resistance.
The only big name I believe is worth Khan beating is Floyd, because Floyd ain't a big puncher, and khan has faster hands. I say this because Khan ain't got a chance against anyone who hits harder, mattyse, garcia.... The list goes on.
Khans the only person who could out point PBF because of said hand speed, but of course Floyd in his prime takes it all day, but now... Maybe not.
Khan does not have the brain pan to beat a 50 year old Floyd. He mentally folds with one dimensional plodders. With Floyd he would think he was fighting a crowd.
I dunno, he did fine against Peterson and that was about as high a pressure as you get adding the PEDs.
I still had him up after the point deductions. Hopefully their next fights are each other.
Khan v Mayweather I would enjoy.

Bang on.
Arguello never chased down Amaya.
Benny Leonard never bothered with Dunn or Finnegan.
Armstrong never chased down Lovino.
Conn never went after Leone.
Ted Lewis never avenged the Thomas loss.
Re: Avenging your loss..how important is it?
Nameless nailed it. All about circumstances. Khan was given the key to the kingdom before he even entered vs Prescott rather than an obscure pro debut etc. Of course you seek redemption and to right the ship after such a disaster. Its not like Prescott faded into a black hole..he lingered in contention and remained visible. Always reminding. The questions, talk and speculation have hindered him ever since he got back to the locker room and I think have alot to do with his psyche and fighting so tightly wound. Some fighters stare ghosts in the face and course correct..others distance themselves, carry the baggage and just whistle through the graveyard the rest of the way.
Re: Avenging your loss..how important is it?
It only has a meaning if the person that beat you is still good. There was no reason for hate to avenge his defeat against Thompson or khan against Prescott.
Re: Avenging your loss..how important is it?
Both of these guys pretty much sum it up for me...

Obviously its pretty important to Floyd Mayweather, that's why he gave Jose Luis Castillo a rematch.:lickish:
But, its not that important to Adrien Broner since he never gave a rematch to Ponce De Leon (who I picked to beat Mares and didn't thank you very much)

He wouldn't have a prayer. Zab Judah had faster hands than Mayweather. Took him 2 rounds to adjust and figure him out

No, Prescott keeps on losing to any decent fighter he faces since his victory over Khan.

Khan will take on the winner of Garcia/Peterson/Mattyse
