Thats true, danny did seem abit affected late in that fight and mathysse will bring the pressure alot sooner than judah did. The other advantage lucas has is that garcia loops his shots, dont think ive ever seen throw a perfectly straight shot and as someone said on this thread already, you don't hook with a hooker.Quote:

I dont think garcia will duck this fight. He is not that type of fighter. He took the khan fight when people thought it was too soon and he is naturally confident. He might regret the decision but i think he will agree to fight. He will probably have to get off the floor to win Imo.
Danny also says he doesnt watch tapes of opponents but in this case i think it would be useful for him to study mathysse and his habbits because there are opportunities to land a big counter and lucas has never met a puncher like danny so we dont know how he would react. This poll is proof that nobody has really considered the possibility of Danny landing something big but if he does it changes the dynamics of the fight
I really want to see this fight. :) I think both guys get hit early and often although Matthysse doesn't seem to need "often". The first knockdown on Saturday night was the one that would put the fear of god into me if I was in line to fight Matthysse. A glancing blow while Peterson was already backing up and he really never recovered from it. Matthysse by KO for me.
I think that is what makes it so scary/worrisome for Garcia. Matthysse arguably has the greatest power AND possibly the best chin in boxing. Dude just walks right in for a shot. Peterson landed his hook about the same time on an unsuspecting Matthysse and Matthysse was basically unfazed. Meanwhile Peterson saw stars and other things in the cosmos.Quote:

Garcia has 1 punch, Matthysse has dynamite in both.
Hell, he missed Peterson with one shot, just about scuffing him and knocked him down.
