That podgy bloke would dry reach then piss and moan if he even had the job of carrying Victor Charlies boots.
Maybe, but it was only a joke Andre. ;)

the law in america though is you can carry. period. so if that is the law, then on what basis did they stop him and question him? does that mean the cops can stop and detain and question anybody anytime at their own discretion BASED ON WHAT??? that is where the law breaks down iasnt it? this idiot was out to prove something and he proved it, that american police abuse the law and detain and harrass BASED ON WHAT???
THE MAN DID NOTHING WRONG TO BE STOPPED DETAINED AND QUESTIONED. that is the point really IMO. why did they stop him? it is legal in Texas to carry. they know that. so does that give them the right to stop and detain and question BASED ON WHAT??? BASED ON WHAT???
FUCK AMERICA AND FUCK AMERICANS. WHO IS MORE FUCKED UP I DONT KNOW FUCK THEM ALL. THE LAW HAS MORPHED AND THE COPS HAVE MORPHED AND EVERYTHING SI SO FUCKING CONVOLUTED THERE NOW THANK GOD I AM NOT THERE FUCK THEM ALL.
I recon that cop wanted to beat the snot out him and would of had him on the ground under different circumstances.

So everyone understands it is 100% legal to openly carry a rifle in Texas. Andre that is a semi-automatic rifle and not a machinegun. Outside of some cosmetics on the exterior it does not have the same capabilities as the rifle a Soldier carrys in battle. Not only is it perfectly legal to carry the rifle but private citizens are under no obligation to speak to law enforcement unless they are being detained due to probable cause of their envolvement in a crime. This is a perfect example of American law enforcement over reacting and treating law abiding citizens like criminals. Fuck those pigs. Oh and I'm much trimmer than that guy but kiddos for taking one on the chin to show what a bunch of cocksuckers those cops are. Now I happened to have been stationed with that guy and he is pretty over the top on the 2nd amendment even for me but someone shouldn't get treated like that if they haven't broken the law. That being said, what you don't see in this video is the cop asking for him to hand over the rifle so they can talk and the Soldier refuses b/c legally he doesn't have to. The Soldier should have done what he was told then educated the dumbass on the law.
on principle of being the LAW why should he hand over his weapon? Why can't they talk anyway? From what I've seen of spree killers they don't tend to bring there little kids along with them.
Re: SHOCKING VIDEO: Active Duty Soldier Illegally Disarmed and Arrested
He was being more than pedantic. Why don't you handcuff the police and then wrap some gaffa tape over their mouth. Then you can moan at them for not arresting or questioning people. What kind of lesson was he teaching his son ? He couldn't wait to threaten a civil lawsuit. If he hadn't grabbed his rifle back and had been less aggressive then the incident might not have escalated.
Re: SHOCKING VIDEO: Active Duty Soldier Illegally Disarmed and Arrested
The lesson he taught his son is to stand up against bullies and tyrants.

They were hardly tyrannical. There is a thin line between belligerence and standing your ground. He was definitely on the I am going to exercise my right to throw a strop side.
Re: SHOCKING VIDEO: Active Duty Soldier Illegally Disarmed and Arrested
It isn't too big of a step to tyranny from harrassing and arresting law abiding citizens.

Yeah I get that.
You know that old expression, keep your worse enemy closest.
He just blew that.
They wont hurry to a call out to his place.
They will check his car out on every road worthy point each time he is pulled over.
Book him for anything now.
They may even beat his ass one night or get some to do it for them.
I hate these kinds of cops, they love me though cause im smart enough to drop names of their colleges to them,Oh I surfed with such and such you know him?.
I went out with JB once her dad was the chief commissioner back then in the day. Nice bloke.
Thanks for your cooperation have a nice day sir...
Re: SHOCKING VIDEO: Active Duty Soldier Illegally Disarmed and Arrested
You don't see videos or hear stories about the Police acting profesionally and lawfully.
Why?
a) it never happens
Or
b) people only film things, complain and rant about bad customer service, poor quality goods, injustice etc etc... The Police are no different and for every incompitent or crooked Police Officer you hear about, it's unlikely you'll hear about the other 20 good ones because people usually have a sizeable sense of self entightlment and are more likely to spend energy complaining than praising?
The internet isn't full of videos showing the Police doing valuable and good work for society because nobody cares to film it and jobody would watch it anyway...
Re: SHOCKING VIDEO: Active Duty Soldier Illegally Disarmed and Arrested
I'd argue that you don't deserve a pat on the back for doing your job professionally. It is what you are paid to do. I have a handful of friends and family in law enforcement and while they are generally good people they all to varying degrees feel that they have special rights and are above certain laws. They ALL complain about the 4th amendment. There are plenty of good people that are in law enforcement but the dirth of stories and videos of police behaving badly, particularly towards law abiding citizens shows a pretty big cultural issue in American law enforcement.

it's not just in the US, we got problems just the same..except are less scary as they don't carry guns, you just fall down stairs in custody.

It's not about a pat on the back, I'm just saying that the the ratio of poor policing videos/stories to good ones doesn't paint the clearest picture because, as you said - nobody cares when the Police get it right.
It all becomes anecdotal because we only log things (and this isn't just the Police) that piss us off or offend us etc, when was the last time you sat with a friend who ranted at you for 20 minutes about the great customer service they received in a shop?
