I dont cry over what is written in a boxing forum;D
I like the fact that no one else has even attempted to answer the question knowing full well why it was asked because there really hasn't been a heavyweight out there who has done anything more than Fury over the last 12 months and you have to question why?
They are all scared to lose their rankings.
To come in here and just try and offend me rather than answer the question just shows how childish you are. Others have looked and felt they cant answer so have left it, instead of leaving a pile of shit post.

Bryant Jennings has had a good if not fantastic schedule but again, his opponents aren't that great. At 17 fights, Fury had fought 3 fighters with unblemished records. They werent proven fighters (one was Chisora) but all had ambition themselves at that point and no one else had beaten them.
Re: Most ambitious heavy over the last 12 months.
For only 15 fights Artur Szpilka has a good list of names.
Although I dont think hes going too far...

Kubrat Pulev has done way more and as a result, Fury ran from him. Are you blind? Or do you just have terrestrial TV?

Re: Most ambitious heavy over the last 12 months.
i like pulev too, think he looks good
Re: Most ambitious heavy over the last 12 months.
He does look a proper fighter, getting stuck in and working. Only problem I can see for him is hes not much of a puncher. Alot of his shots do land against the level hes been fighting but they arent putting them all away.
Re: Most ambitious heavy over the last 12 months.
Their all ambishes thats not the problem!!!! The problem is none of them could fight! Ray

I agree with Ray on this one. None of them can fight. WE're just so goddam bored with the heavyweight bullshit artists that we're hoping 1 of these guys has promise. When in fact, if Pulev or Fury or Wladimir or Sam Peter or David Haye fought in the early 70s WE WOULDNT EVEN HAVE HEARD OF THOSE WANKERS. Jerry Quarry wolda got em all outta there in his pre-title fights. JOe Bugner woulda wasted em. Ron Lyle woulda made mince meat out of em. Imagine Pulev against Smokin Joe Frazier. Lights fucking OUT.

He stopped Dimitrenko, he stopped Ustinov, he stopped Sprott he beat Skelton in only his 5th fight. He's progressing nicely and was all ready to fight Fury until brave, title shot deserving Tyson (as you think) refused to fight him in a final elimanator for a shot at Wlad. Again, are you completely blind to these facts?

Fury beat Maddolone, a bum, Johnson, who had just lost to Tor Hamer, and Steve Cunningham, who is a good boxer but clearly has no chance against a big heavyweight. None of this shows any ambition and he is clearly hand picking opponents he will not lose too, yet he still manages to almost lose in the Cunningham fight. Furys lack of ambition is shown by the way he is ducking fights. If he fought Pulev and won he would be mandatory for a world title shot. But he clearly doesnt want it.
Re: Most ambitious heavy over the last 12 months.
dont know much about bryant jennings but i would vote glazkov as number 1, he got a draw v malik scott but he seems to be busy and going for it... pulev seems to be making an effort too but a lot of fights are falling through with this guy, maybe not his fault but maybe there is something about him too :S i dont know... so it is glazkov for me
