Guzman misses weight AGAIN!

Guzman. Just where did it all go wrong. Anyone have an idea?

I have a feeling he's been surrounded by dickheads for quite some time. What a shame. I'm really intrigued to see how high a weight class he can move up to and still fail to make weight. Who knows, maybe theres still time for the guy to miss weight at 147 or even 154 yet......

He was 148 point something so he managed to miss 147 for a 140 fight. I think that breaks his own record. :)

I think it ties it if I recall correctly

Guzman should not be given these opportunities, if he does he needs to be monitored that he is getting his weight down in camp. He has a reputation for it so the authorities should take the necessary steps to make sure he is on course.

Kind of sucks that Mosquera has his opportunity ripped from him like this. Its not the graduated title but the number 1 ranking. Btw I thought the Wba was dumping all these interim things. So now its Rivera on short notice and its 10 rounds at 147.

Yeah the Wba would not sanction it when they found out the amount he was over.

I don't know what Mosquera weighs here but he shouldn't weigh it again. Rivera is catching him good in 2nd!

Nope, he actually was nine pounds overweight for his fight against Ali Funeka. Funeka made the division limit of 135 and Guzman tipped the scales at 144. He actually had the balls to show up as a welterweight for a lightweight title fight, lol. The definition of being unprofessional.
