Did Sugar Ray Robinson ever fight a guy with an olympic pedigree? ;D
Its amazing how quickly people give credit to JMM and say how great he is. Look what floyd did to him, and then think that was off a 2 year layoff
*Marquez is truely a smaller fighter.. Marquez beating anyone over 135pound is a testament on how great Marquez is... May's body is made for 147 pounds... May was bigger, weighed more the day of the fight and it was Marquez 1st fight at welterweight... IMO, nothing to be proud of as far as May's concerned. very uneventful
Far point. So will you give an absolute heap of praise on Mayweather when he beats Alvarez. Floyd made for 147 Alvarezz made for 160?
Re: Has Floyd ever fought a fighter with Olympic pedigree?
I don't think Oscar was really prime any more who still prime at 34 really in the lower weights. Also by then he kinda was a part time fighter and more of a promoter and had fucking damn near a billion dollars in the bank also. I am not sure he was really hunger anymore but it was a very good win though no doubt.

Because he clearly was? Far from washed up or anything but certainly not in his best physical condition, Oscar was a terrific puncher in his early career, when he could still make 140 and below.

Because he was in many respects. The DLH that fought Mosely would have been a better fight... jmo... perhaps he would have won that night.
