Re: GGG vs. Floyd Mayweather at a Catchweight of 157-8? Canelo at 157-8?
GGG v Floyd at 154 would be interesting to see how Golovkin handles the weight reduction. It would make more sense to make a GGG fight with Saul but GGG should stay at middleweight and unify the division. This thread is a complement to Floyd and should not be used as a way to criticise him. Floyd came from being a great featherweight to a very good welterweight in the league of Tito, ODH and Sugar Shane not Robinson, Leonard and Hearns.

Cmon fenster,
You really think Golovkin beats ward!?
I think GGG isn't a super middleweight and there are middleweights that he needs to beat before moving up in weight to fight Ward. For example, Sergio Martinez and someone like Martin Murray, Daniel Geale, or Kid Choc. Also, we haven't seen GGG at 168 yet so it is impossible to determine if his power translates. I don't just mean punching power, but strength to aid in his aggression. In other words, is he too small for 168? Before Ward, a fight with Froch would be bombs away.
That isn't the point of the post though. Would he starch Mayweather and Canelo at 154? You never answered the question.

Not sure. I think both are excellent fighters. Considering Ward's natural size advantage i'd favour him, at the moment, unless Golovkin proves himself at supermiddle. Just like I'd favour Golovkin over Floyd because of the natural size advantage.
Re: GGG vs. Floyd Mayweather at a Catchweight of 157-8? Canelo at 157-8?
I am sure Froch would beat Golovkin as well as Ward.

GGG calling out FLoyd is rubbish. I know everybody wants that money but calling out a smaller fighter? cmon GGG..
Re: GGG vs. Floyd Mayweather at a Catchweight of 157-8? Canelo at 157-8?
Floyd is a great fighter, but him fighting GGG at middle-weight would be a bridge to far, Floyd
has got to get past Canelo first,! lets face it Canelo could beat Floyd.
There is a saying a good big one beats a good small one, in this case against Golovkin the small
one is Floyd.;)

Would GGG beat trout?
mayweathers game steps up everytime the opponent is better.
Mayweather owns GGG but i cant say whether canelo would be a winner or not.
I still believe that if GGG expects mayweather to fight him from a lower weight..he should be expected to step up to the supermiddle divison and fight andre, froch and co.
At making money.
