Silva has never went up against a striker has technical as Bisping.
I'll go ahead and put Wiedman on Franklins level as far as striking. But Weidmans quicker and stronger with better finishing capabilities. And Silva is older know than he was against Franklin.
Besides Franklin and Weidman, the next best technical striker Silva has fought would be Sonnen.
LOL!
Bisping? The guy who got outstruck by a wrestler in Matt Hamill?
No, the reason Bisping has never gotten a shot at Anderson is because he ALWAYS loses when he's almost in line for title contention.
Hendo knocked him out brutally, then he lost to a washed up Wanderlei.
Then he started rallying some wins together, but lost his shot when he dropped the decision to Chael.
Then he got TKO'd by Belfort and went down the ladder again.
Bisping has no chance against Silva. Weidman can punch. Bisping doesn't have big power in his hands.

Like I said, he has no chin and struggles against people with one shot KO power.
He got ripped of in the Chael fight.
He won a close fight against Hammil, who is much bigger than him. If your fighting a dude who is much bigger than you and you have to worry about there wrestling it makes you tentative with your striking. It totally changes the striking game up. It can make a wrestler look like Ali and the other guy look like Wepner.
Bisping would destroy Hammil in a kickboxing match.
If there is anyone at 185 can actually strike with Silva (when Silva isnt doing stupid shit) its Bisping.
Silva wins by KO in a rematch against Weidman.

I think he sounded embarrassed because he has never lost in front of that many people. And not only did he lose he got KTFO. And not only did he get KTFO, he got KTFO in his home country. And not only all this, his own home country booed him after he lost.

Wasn't on his level but managed to KO him? Your a bellend.
Its you're:rolleyes:, and yes the guy wasn't on his level. The only reason Silva would do that is because he knew it, but he obviously payed the ultimate price last night. Almost anyone could get a knockout if a guy gives them that little respect, it doesn't mean he's the better fighter.

Maybe so. After the first take down Silva did stuff a couple tho. Looked like he wasnt to afraid to be taken down.

I don't know I only remember chris attempting one more after but either way its not like silva fought differently than he usually does, people say silva should kept his hands up and he wins, when did silva ever fight that way?
I think he had many opprotunities to counter. He made Weidman miss many times in which Weidman was left wide open.
Sure having his hands up would have helped but your right when has Silva done that.
I think if Silva would have just go to business he would have KO'd Weidman.
Re: Chris Weidmen the new Middleweight champion
Anderson Silva is 38 years old and been fighting professionally since 1997.
16 years of pro fighting, it's amazing that he held onto his reflexes and speed for as long as he has, but nobody defeats Father Time.
