Re: Rigondeaux - Frampton in September?
Silly fight for Frampton. He has no chance unless Rigo doesnt train and aged horribly in a short period of time.
It looks to me like Warren made a balls of things. Romero is now fighting Kiko for his world title. Warren should have secured that shot for Frampton in Belfast

I've gotta guess that Hearn may have been able to make that bout (it's on the Geale/Barker card and Barker is a Matchroom fighter), so it's fair to say that Warren was a bad choice, but I dare say it was down to McGuigan's greed more than anything else.
Re: Rigondeaux - Frampton in September?
They'll make sure Frampton has home advantage when he fights for the title. Everyone knows how Warren works and it's obviously a model Barry likes.
Re: Rigondeaux - Frampton in September?
This fight is too much for Frampton at this stage of his career, but he's a very, very good fighter and he's going places.
He will undoubtedly win a world title and maybe this fight could be made further down the line. I have no doubt that he would see off the likes of Quigg with comparative ease and there are some big fights out there for him in the future.
No need to rush him. He's coming along very nicely, but leaving Sky and Matchroom was completely insane and won't do him any favours.
