What big fights? You mean like Adamu and then Korobov in April, those big fights? The list of quality fighters calling GGG out is getting rather long, he has to fight one of them eventually. Dirrell wouldn't be a bad choice to start.
Dirrel is a has been in another weight division. Why would GGG move UP in weight to fight him? Makes no sense.
Because he has faught literally not one elite fighter. Some say Stevens is his best opponent, well he lost to a middling on the frickin contender. Some say Rosado is his best opponent, well he's a middle of the pack Jr. MW! Froch, Dirrell, Ward, Hop, Adonis and probably more have called him out. Why is he fighting Adamu? Why is Korobov being eyed for April? Did you know who these guys even were without looking them up? I don't feel stupid at all saying I had no clue who these guys were until they were lined up for GGG.

If he calls him out, he should be willing to fight GGG at 160.
Re: Finally some new Andre Dirrell news
Dirrell needs to get back in the ring. That would be a start ;)

Andre Dirrell calls out Golovkin and Froch
If he can get back to form, I think he can be victorious against them both. If not, then he will more than likely get hurt by Golovkin. Hope these fights get made. Would love to see him back near the top of the division.
Glad to see him back but he's got to show something. Another talent filled athlete with no brain pan. His last fight was at 175. Since exiting the S6, he has made Audlley Harrison look like an overachiever. I picked him to win that tourney even with his low head count just because of his skill set. I still like him but he needs a few kicks to the head to get him through the door if he thinks he can just call out those that have been working their asses off. He's got a pretty high opinion of himself to even expect them to listen. Start off by getting on one of their undercards and destroying a top 10 opponent. I'm with you on hoping he gets back in play but there is no reason for GGG to fight him and none really for him to fight GGG. I mean whats on the line? Same with Froch. Why would Carl even consider it? Andre needs to go out there and make a couple of real statements in the ring and then he can mouth off in the press.

I expect and endless stream of excuses in reply
Not a bad take, but does Dirrell really bring much to the table at present, is he even an elite guy anymore? Golovkin probably wouldn't make any more for that fight than he will against the couple of guys he's lined up to fight, he'd be a lot wiser to hold out for other bigger names unless Dirrell actually has a relevant fight in the meantime.
Understand I'm not trying to be a dick here when I say, you realize that's an excuse right?
I get that it's business but people call out Floyd for his opponents, people call out Canelo for his opponents, hell I'll even throw out that bum Julio Cesar Chavez Jr gets called out for being coddled. I could go on and on listing people who get called out for their opponents, but the difference is they've fought SOME top guys. When you don't do something it's on you. We need to stop excusing this guy. I want him to do well so I won't be wrong. But this Adamu fight is a joke and looking to line up Korobov next is just too much if it's true.

GGG called his name first.

Both the Dirrells seem to think they're special and the boxing world should come begging to them. It doesn't matter how good everyone thinks you are, you have to do the work and prove it.

I agree if you call someone out you should willing to come to them otherwise it should be taken as a bluff. But you do realize this was part of your bashing of Ward/Dawson, right? You went on about how Ward shouldn't demand Dawson to come down in weight and you continually discredited Ward's victory even though Dawson is the one who called Ward out. Just admit that you don't like Ward even if you have to contradict yourself and we'll both act like this didn't happen. ;)

Seriously? Who else is calling GGG out? Not that I think he should venture up in weight because he hasn't cleaned out the division, but GGG could fight Ward or Froch at 168 for a lot more money than a fight with Dirrell would earn him.

Who do you expect him to fight? I'm just curious because it seems to me that everyone at 160 is avoiding him. Sturm dodged him for years. Geale avoided him. Quillin is on another network and he's facing Danny Jacobs so it looks like he isn't ready for him. Martinez's promoter has outright said that he wouldn't put Martinez in the ring with him for his first fight back and wants Martinez against Cotto. Murray opted to not fight him on that February date in Monaco and is fighting a stay-busy fight himself. Stevens called him out and GGG fought him. Is there anyone else that merits a fight with GGG at 160? Or do you expect him to move up? Even if he moved up, why would he fight Dirrell and not Froch or Ward for more money?
