i thought pac won the third fight
im not insane
i have watched the first two but cant remember what i thought about them really and certainly not enough to have a conversation about them
i can remember the third tho if youd like to discuss it :)

Good for Marquez. JMM doesn't owe Pac shit...and he doesn't owe fights fans anything either. He has had a hell of career...and if that means he wants his signature win to stand as it is...good for him.
Jmm has been robbed in at least a few of the fights with pac and out of all the bouts he was the only one to win it with no doubts. The man is 40 he can do what he pleases Pac still can rematch Bradley and try to erase of the first result not to mention Bradley did something pac could not beat Jmm clearly. After that he may get a fight it with the top fighter Mayweather if he takes a lower share and leaves Arum. Anyhow either of the fights eb great and i am sure something good will happen i am sure of it.
Hmmm...... I wonder how many seconds it would take for JMM to change his tune if Pac were to actually fight Floyd and beat him.
:scratchchin:
owns .... JMM hahaha!!!!!! Winning controversial decisions hardly qualifies as domination. Putting your arch enemy to fucking sleep is priceless. Who remembers those previous fights except Pac huggers? The fresh memory of a dead like Crime scene pose on the canvas face first is historic. Like it or not !!!!!!!!!!
i agree with you. the 1st and 3rd fights were clearly marquez. people look at the 3 KDs in the first fight but from the 3rd round on, JMM easily outboxed pac. the third fight was a joke of a decision. the second fight i had JMM winning by a point but it was a close fight and the SD win for pac was fair. i didnt mind it.
and like many people have said, JMM doesnt owe pac a rematch. you can whine as much as you want about pac giving JMM all of those rematches but that was for pac's own legacy. he kept wanting to get those close/controversial decisions out of his legacy but kept coming up short. JMM is old now and will lose if they fight again and he knows that.
i cant remember exactly how i scored it
but i definately thought Manny won the majority of the rounds
manny was by far the aggressor and landed more punches in most rounds, marquez was backing up and pot shotting him and maybe landing the more eye catching punches but a lot less of them
if you pick the 3 rounds that were most clearly won you would pick 3 rounds marquez won, the rest were close rounds which i thought manny won the vast majority of
if you pick the 10 best punches in the fight they would probably be marquez punches which were probably by far and away the best 10 punches of the fight, if you were to pick the best 100 punches then 70 would probably be mannys
its just my opinion and i am completely impartial
I also think words like robbery and a schoolling dont apply in the marquez pac fights because opinion is so divided
they were obviously all very close fights
being a close fight doesnt mean that it isnt a robbery. i thought that JMM won the third fight 116-112. on my scorecard, it was relatively close as in if there were 2 close rounds that i gave to JMM instead of pac, it created a JMM win instead of a draw. but the difference is that in that fight there were mostly clear winners for each round. their second fight had a lot more toss up rounds while the 1st and 3rd didnt.
for example, if during a 12 round fight, fighter #1 scored a KD in 7 of the 12 rounds and fighter #2 scored a KD in the other 5 rounds. lets assume that the KDs were clear and the person who got the kd was winning the round. so essentially, every round was a 10-8 round and in the end, the fight was close, but it would be a robbery if fighter #2 won because he clearly won 7 rounds. that is how i feel about their 3rd fight in particular. even though it wasnt a blowout, marquez clearly won at least 7 rounds which would make it a robbery if he didnt win the fight.
:) I agree if there was a fight like that then there could be a robbery, and I don't think there would be too much split opinion, I think most would agree
none of the pac marquez fights were, they were full of close rounds
perhaps I am swayed by the aggressor in fights I don't know, but in the third pac was on the front foot throughout and was pushing the fight, marquez most of the time was landing only because pac was pushing for it and committing and I don't think he was outlanding pac, his punches at times may have looked nicer because pac was coming on to them
eitherway the fight was definitely not a robbery and pac was definitely not schooled
pac couldnt get going the whole fight. he had a few good shots but everytime he came in, JMM countered him. pac tried to be the aggressor but was stopped.
I thought Mexican warriors don't turn down fights?
