Re: When your favorite fighter retires, whose bandwagon will you hop on?
I'm on more badwagons than most. The younger of the Inoue brothers, Kosei Tanaka and Ryota Murata are 3 of the newest

Naoya Inoue is one of the best young Japanese ive seen in the past 15 years or so.. This guy is just crazy with it..
I havent seen much of his little brother though. I heard he's exceptionally good as well.
Im really high on Murata too..
Im just waiting for Ioka to face Gonzalez cuz the fight is overdue..

Problem with Naoya is I was cheerleading him from his debut so he's not that recent :p
Masayoshi Nakatani is another guy I'm falling in love with, hopefully he beats Kato
Re: When your favorite fighter retires, whose bandwagon will you hop on?
Vitali & Wladimir are getting closer to retirement and I am not sure what heavyweight I will cheer for after they are no longer fighting. I had given Joe Hanks thought but his performance vs Ruiz Jr was crap and he's hit his ceiling, Wilder has interested me but I've got a feeling he's going to be a damned mess once he fights someone with a pulse or knowledge about boxing, I would never support Tyson Fury....it's sad but there's not a great heavyweight on the horizon just yet.
At light heavyweight I'd like to start supporting Kovalev...that dude is dangerous although Stevenson looks tough too. Tavoris Cloud just didn't get his chance soon enough, pressure fighters age out quickly. Marcus Browne & Trevor McCumby might do well in the future.
At 168 I haven't had a favorite in a while...I did like David Lemieux as a prospect but I think he's hit his peak already
At middleweight I was a Jermain Taylor fan, but after his first retirement and really since he dropped Manny Steward as a trainer I stopped and I now like Pete Quillen. I like GGG but I hadn't followed him early enough to be "on the bandwagon"
At 154 Miguel Cotto is my guy I've supported him from the get go and IMO he's been better than most of the fighters in his era bar Floyd and Pac of course. I am starting to follow Demitrius Andrade more and I like his potential.
