Tyson Fury is scavenging for opponents because he was duped by David Haye (laughable at this point, fool somebody once shame on you fool them 80 times shame on them), Chisora is fighting for relevance, and Domonick Guinn (considering what Cunningham landed and that Guinn's career is close to the end) is a very high risk low reward opponent.
How is him signing to fight Wlads most dangerous opponent not trying to move up the ladder?
Haye pulled out because he was injured but managed to get in the ring with Wlad injured.
Yes maybe he should have known better and now everyone does know better not to rely on Haye but having good faith in someone to actually turn up and fight is a commendable attribute not something that should be used to criticise Fury.
Like ai said this show might not even happen. Arena is fucked and no opponents.
Re: The curse of Tyson Fury
This is who Fury might be fighting now.
Who is it?
https://mobile.twitter.com/Tyson_Fur...96910872420352
Edit, its Gonzalo Omar Basile
Not a durable opponent.
Re: The curse of Tyson Fury
It's a $#!tty sport...
Fighters get frustrated at not getting the matchups they need.
Fans get frustrated at not getting the matchups they want to see.

#1 Because David Haye "retired" after fighting Wlad. Since fighting Wlad Haye fought Dereck Chisroa and nobody else.
#2 Haye always has an excuse it took him 4 YEARS to fight Wlad
#3 If Fury thought getting a fight with David Haye where Haye actually shows up and they have a ref and they fight. Was going to be an easy thing then well that just goes to show you how fucking stupid Tyson Fury actually is.
#4 Tyson Fury put his trust and blind faith on fighting ONLY David Haye with 0 backup/contingency plan and yes that makes Fury laughably gullible
Would it have been a step up in competition? Sure, but then again ANYONE would be a step up considering who Fury has fought recently (which is NOBODY)

He hasnt fought "nobody"
Johnson lost a 3 round fight in prizefighter? Big deal! So would Bernard Hopkins! When Tyson fought Johnson, he had extended Vitali and gave Vitali more problems than he did Tyson.
When Tyson fought Cunningham, Cunningham ws coming off a disputed loss to Adamek. Most have Adamek in the top 5 and he has a clear win over Arreola, who is due to challenge for the vacant title!
Tyson is leading up to a title challenge. Hes not someone whos lost a shot and needs to fight a name to get back there. Not many will want to risk their position without getting a good payday for it.

Adamek is a SMALL heavyweight, Cunningham is a SMALL heavyweight, they were basically fighting for the Super Cruiserweight title.
Tyson Fury needs to fight people who are available and WILLING to fight....you know who just recently said they would LOVE to fight Tyson Fury??? TONY THOMPSON!!! And you know that guy is willing to travel. He's coming off 2 huge wins over Fury's rival David Price.....it would sell because Fury could do the whole "I'm better than Price, I'll restore England's bragging rights in boxing" but no, no Baby Fury wanted the Haye fight....why?
MONEY
Not a title shot, not to intimidate Wlad, not to move up the rankings, not to improve his image, but 100% for the money.
It's bad business and a low IQ that have put Fury in his current situation, he has nobody to blame but himself!

So to clear things up fury fought two guys both coming of losses who haven't really shown any power at HW , and both had inflated ratings, and he managed tp get floored by one of them.

As iv pointed out getting floored by a smaller fighter doesnt seem to mean much later in a fighters career;)
As for fighting people coming off losses, even Vitali has done that in a title defence!

Vitali has beaten many good fighters , as for your opinion that is a good thing to get floored by a 210lb light punching for CW when your weigh 245lbs, well that's very interesting indeed.

What are you on about? Vitali pitched a shut out against Johnson. Kingpin gave him 0 problems to deal with.

Re: The curse of Tyson Fury
Haye pulls out of a fight twice, criticize Fury.
^seems to be the consensus
Everyone wanted to see Haye-Fury, so choosing the fight the fans wanted to see is greedy.
What do you want him to do, who do you want him to fight.

Its insane!
Iv never seen so much ignorance toward a fighter who after all, is only trying to fight!
Apparently Fury should have known all along Haye would never fight but then, shouldnt even the Klitschkos should be criticised for being mucked around by him and signing to fight him?
Should all the fans who raved about Haye in here and all the poor fans who paid for hotels and travel also be criticised for being mugged off by Haye?
Whos to say no fighter will never pull out against Fury in the future? After all, as el kabong said, Haye is the most dangerous heavy out there and if Fury can make the most dangerous fighter run twice and post "hurt my selfies" whos to say less dangerous fighters wont?
What boxing needs is mandatory clauses in contracts now that if one fighter pulls out there is a penalty per week from signing to fight so living and training expenses are covered. Thats fair. It would make fighters a little more careful and not to do silly things.
