GARCIA UD - Gamboa stops taking risks in the middle rounds and coasts to a well deserved loss.
I'd personally be interested in a Donaire Vs Garcia instead
All of this depends on if Gamboa comes up under-conditioned. Which may not be the case. Gamboa may be able to bring the heat for at least 8 full 3 minute rounds.
I don't agree.. All of Gamboa's speed and conditioning are counterproductive. He moves around with no real purpose and his sense of range is slightly amateurish. Garcia is surperb at exposing weakness and Gamboa's weakness is tailor made for Garcia and will lead to an easy UD.

This would actually be a really exciting fight I'm sure. Considering Gamboa has been treading water for years, it's easy to forget his talent, and the fact that he's still undefeated, or yet to face a truly hard fight. I'd favour Garcia as most would I'm sure, but Gamboa could surprise everyone once he's actually faced with losing down the stretch. He's certainly the more explosive athlete of the two.
If it weren't for the gongshow of promotional disputes in boxing, this would probably be a candidate for co main to Mayweathers next fight as well.

Agreed.. garcia wins easily was my initial thought but I look back and realize many great mexican fighters have hard time when up against slick black boxers..
Thing is Garcia is not a Mexican boxer he is an American boxer . He honed his craft here in the USA. So you may as well call all black fighters Africans. Secondly using Gamboa and slick in the same sentence is a joke. Gamboa is a fast fighter with no fighting style or identity. Gamboa does not even know who he is in the ring and loses focus during his fights. None of his previous opponents have the skills Garcia and all come straight foward brawlers like the opponents you say Garcia has faced. Name one opponent that Gamboa has faced that has a boxers skillset?
Mikey is going to jab the midget to death with height and 3 inch reach advantage, frustrate the hell out of him then make him gamble & lunge in and then KTFO out of him

I wouldn't be surprised if both guys got dropped along the way. Garcia is able to adjust to his opponent as needed ;)
