The quality of their song output (especially considering they were only releasing albums for 7 or 8 years) is off the charts. Legendary band, there's nothing you can say about them that hasn't already been said.

I side with your mom btw, George Harrison is my favorite Beatle. I really enjoyed a lot of his solo albums.

My mate used to deliver his newspaper to him when he was a kid some 40 years back in Hendley on Thames.

Concert for the people of Bangladesh is probably one of the finest concert films around. All things must pass is one of the better albums. He also put out a fine album before he died. And of course you have the traveling Wilburys
