Chavez is probably fighting GGG next and was ranked #1 by the WBC at 168 without ever fighting at the weight, why no complaints there?
GGG is a paper champion at 160 and he's a nobody at 168 so a fight with chavez is acceptable..
Unlike Cruz, Chavez earned his shot at the WBC MW title against Martinez.. after giving a good account of himself, he decided to move up to 168 and in many cases when that happens , the sanctioning body can allow the fighter to be ranked as the number one contender in that new division..
And now he beat Vera for the WBC Continental Americas Supermiddleweight title so he could have fought bika instead of Ggg and nobody can complain..
his first fight after his loss to Martinez was at light heavyweight....fact, so throw that bullshit out the window, and GGG is the #2 guy at Middleweight, only behind Martinez, Chavez was a paper champion at 160
