I like Cotto, but this win over Martinez doesn't give him bragging rights, in my opinion. I like Martinez too, but without his legs he's nothing special, in the ring.
When it comes to Cotto, Floyd has been there and done that. Cotto had his moments in his fight with Floyd, but do you think Floyd is going to see Cotto's win over Martinez as spectacular?
Beating this Martinez is probably something Floyd's last three opponents could have done too.
Martinez was never anything special.
He's been open for the shots Cotto had for him his entire career.
Kermit Cintron(one of the slowest fighters ever) was catching him clean and rocking him.
Sergio was never all that.

I will agree with u that Sergio was a little overrated. He was lucky to get the win over Pavilik. He struggled with some guys who to me where not world class. His sloppy hands down mouth open style took him kinda far considering his overall shittiness.
