Nothing there for Floyd but the money. I pretty much agree with what you said, but don't forget that Maidana and Garcia aren't going to be setting around with their thumbs up their asses. They both had a real good look at Floyd and could be working on something new. What that might be is anyone's guess, but don't underestimate them.
Completely fair statement.. I like Garcia's coaching IQ; however, if you look at the last fight Maidana did everything people said would work against Mayweather. He used the Jab and he roughed him up and punched anything and everything. The problem is, its still Marcos Maidana an inferior opponent that gave everything he had, made a fantastic run at it but he's just not good enough to win... Sometimes that's just the way it is.
I will say though, Money May is ripe for the picking. I just don't think Marcos is the guy that is going to do it.

I don't mind this again. It was honestly the most entertaining fight involving Mayweather that I've seen in many years, and I don't buy entirely that Floyd 'just wanted it that way'. Maidana not only mauled him with effect, he also and its lost but managed to match and out jab him for extended times. Sure, Mayweather has more to adjust with and will blueprint for a rematch but..it was a good fight. We're talking 90 days, can't expect or see Mayweather or Cotto having enough time to go again. We all know they'll need 90 days at a minimum to work out the cathweight bs and diva qualifiers alone. Better than watching him play connect the dots with Canelos freckles again I guess.

I dont think floyd figured anything out or wanted the fight to be the way it was. I mean I'm pretty sure floyd had maidana figured out before they even stepped foot in the ring, problem is when maidana is operating full steam ahead he's hard to deal with for anyone and will hit anything he can get his gloves on but as he lost a bit of steam it became easier. I'll fully be expecting a fight similar to the first.
