i agree with bilbo that there shouldn't be any difference between a ko and a tko.
i'm also amenable to those changes.Quote:

OK Shadow i was thinking about this last night and the main problem is this....
if we have 6 fights to pick...
lets say you pick ko/tko for the 6 fights and all are right apart from 1 fight where the boxer you pick gets ko/tko'd
you score nothing for picking 5 winners by ko/tko ((not an easy trick)) because of 1 upset
surely it is normal to have atleast one upset in 6 fights?
to fix this i think the ko/tko picks should get 2 points and if your fighter loses by ko/tko you should lose only 2 points. and not 5
then if you get 5 fights right and one wrong out of 6 you get 8 point... this means the KO only and TKO only picks should go up to 4 point each as a double or nothing gamble ;)
is it rediculous to suggest that we start over because we're now choosing fights without even knowing the scores and penalties....???
who said start over?Quote:

Although the TKO is more likely. Hence, the point spread difference.
It's entirely up to you guy's. With the tweeks that I made from the system in place 3 weeks ago, a lot of people have made it out of the red. I must admit that those rules were quite draconian.
Keep the thread moving along. If enough people want me to change the TKO/KO bonus to + 2, I don't have a problem with that. I do think it would be foolish to change the 5 point deduction if your fighter is picked to win via stoppage and get's stopped. That rule was grandfathered into the old contest and nobody complained about it then.
As I said before: I've come up with the system but it is open to everyone's input. ALL feedback is valid and will be taken into consideration. ;)
I hit modify by mistake when I meant to quote you Saddo. ::)
Going to unpin this, you can find the rules to the competition here:
