Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2016

I am generally opposed to all superhero movies as its always the same thing, the good guy is getting his ass kicked but in the bottom of the twelfth makes a big comeback. Having said that, the batman movies are always filmed in such a dark magnificent manner they are usually quite engaging. Hast Affleck already played batman one time. The Dark Knight Rises really took me out of my anti superhero genre. As you know, I'm an American, and we are all pretty much superheroes American exceptionalism truly is exceptional.

I watched the Avengers last week at a friends place, unreal pile of garbage and this is probably more of the same. How are they planning to set up Batman vs Superman without it being some cheesefest money grab? Why would they possibly be fighting? And whats more, how is it even supposed to be competitive?!?! Batman is just a billionaire with a bunch of gadgets, is Bruce Wayne going to synthesize kryptonite and start producing it? Unless they incorporate that into the plot, it's going to suck! Mark my words.

You make it sound like Kryptonite is a long shot.
Also Superman's biggest ally is the sun.

Batman will use this to his advantage.

Another one of those superhero overloads? Nah, just not interested in any of that. The recent Batman films and the early Superman films were great because they stayed true to the characters, and the world was believable. You can't just merge them for shits and giggles. It ruins it for me just hearing about it.

Merged???

Miles, DC (as with Marvel) have there own 'universe', events and actions in their own timeline that corresponds with each and everyone of their own characters.

You say that the recent films were great - which is great - but if it is character integrity that I assume you question, well then consider that while the Justice league were formed in 1960, the main antagonist from the film Batman Begins (Ra's al Ghul) was not even created until 1971.

So the Justice league are valid, necessary and do not induce any plot holes or such.

I probably would enjoy them if I did lol

I had a couple of Marvel comics as a kid. Bumper editions, like. It surprises me, how much of the story lines I managed to retain from them. But no, I just enjoy superhero movies I guess. Plus I Google a lot :rolleyes:
