Even if Floyd loses he will still generate money. Manny lost to Bradley and JMM and he gets loads of money. Floyd would too.

Perhaps not as much as he would make being marketed as this undefeatable fighter. People pay to see Manny because 1. we like Manny more than Floyd on a personal and appeal level. 2. Manny produces more exciting fights.

Floyd is neither likeable, and he doesn't fight with jaw dropping excitement at every round. One can easily fall asleep during a Floyd fight.

Manny has a different marketing angle than Floyd. Manny can lose and we would still pay big money for him- for all reasons said above.

I do not like Floyd and would not pay to watch him, a bit like Hopkins, but you would watch him if he was fighting someone that will present a big challenge for him. So I wanted to watch Floyd v Canelo or Hopkins v Kovolev.

They would I know, and I know boxing is corrupt

With mayweather it could be argued that there are one or two fighters he has avoided but in general it's a pretty good record and he has fought some very good fighters, and he has clearly won the fights

Floyd picks the refs, the gloves, the venue, the tests, when the tests are taken, and God knows what else... isn't that the commission's job?
