I have bitten the bullet and paid £110 for a ticket for mear the nack of the floor seats. Hopefully I can actually see something! Going with my brother. The clincher was the Eubank Jr fight. Ill be seriously pissed off if that doesnt happen.
The way im looking at it is when will you ever have a show in England that has 3 genuine world class heavies (Fury, Chisora and Chambers), an awesome grudge match that will feature, what I think will be the emergence of a massive boxing star in Eubank Jr and also the progression of Hughie Fury. Not a bad bill at all but the Eubank Kr fight is the only reason I bought the tickets.
Firy beat Chisora and it wasnt close.
Eddie Chambers lost back to back fights , the his last 3 opponents have a combined record of - 24 wins - 91 losses -10 draws , only one of which had a winning record and he had 10 wins - 7 losses.
His next opponent is 2 wins - 5 losses in his last 7.
Well I do not think that is world class at all , the only reason you think he is world class , is because fury trains him. He is a good journeyman / fringe contender at best.
The reason. I think Chambers is world class is because he is. If Arreola and stiverne who have lost to worse men than chambers can challenge for a world title so can Chambers.
He moved down to cruiser when he isn't a cruiser and basically malnourished himself to do so. Compare his body then to now. He lost as much muscle as fat to get down there. He's now comfortable and strong in the mid 220lb range. He gave Wlad his most awkward fight until poor training and preparation caught up with him. His fight with Wlad was far more competitive than Hayes none effort. He's treading water until they can find a name who wants to risk their ranking against him.
Being in a training camp with huge men like Hughie and Tyson will help him.
Wow Ross. Youve done it again. How you can call the Klit fight anywhat competitive is beyond me. I think Chambers landed one punch in the fight and lost every round while Wlad toyed with him before brutally KOing him. Just wow. Also Arreola has only lost to Stiverne, Adamek and Vitali. Stiverne would be a strong favorite over Adamek?
Its definitely a card worth going to though. Skeete v Gavin has been added to it too which is a good fight.

Chambers did more, landed more than anyone Wlad has faced lately. He even managed to turn the tables and actually man handle him for once. Lifting him off his feet and slamming him in to the canvas a couple of times.

As much as you like to piss your knickers, stamp your feet and sulk over the Fury's and how they have ruined your life, Hughie is class and will prove himself down the line. He won the Gold at the amateur wold championships. He's only just this past week turned 20 for fucks sakes!

Both would of beaten Notice. Horace was too small, and his chin looked suspect (Hughroy Currie had him over).
Mason/Fury is interesting. If Tyson's chin is sound enough (it is still up for debate), then he could outpoint Gary, but at the moment from what I have seen, I think Mason stops him late. Chisora is arguably cruder than Gary, and he lacks the chin and clubbing power of Mason. I would be surprised if Chisora got through to the second half of a fight between them.
Frank was fine when not intimidated by his opponent, he could even go 8/10 rounds if need be (Bugner/Brown/Williams). I do not think Fury or Chisora are smart enough to intimidate Bruno. I think their 'act' in any press conference would just amuse big Frank, and the results of the fights would depend on how long both wanted/could take a beating. I doubt either lasts longer than Bugner.
What is your take?
Re: What a pair of bums hyping a fight nobody's interested in
I thought Notice was better than Bruno and Mason.

Can you explain to me how a man who went life and death with Hughroy Currie; who's best win was against a young Cruiserweight (Wamba); a boxer who sadly had to call it quits before even showing that he could overcome concerns at anything above a fairly poor domestic scene; a fighter who would give away at least 30lbs in a fight, was better than two proven performers who only ever failed against those at the top of the division?
