Let's take Hopkins' opening list of 15-20 opponents. Other than a whitewash at the hands of RJJ early in their careers, what stands out to you to say he "came up the hard way", as opposed to the "cossetted" upbringing of, say... a Miguel Cotto. Just wondering.

Yea pretty strange statement as Hopkins and Pacs early opponents were muck. No better than Floyds or Cottos. Margarito had a few tough fights on paper but the guys that beat him were nothing special. Then again I dont think Margarito was all that good.
