Re: Cotto denies deal with Alvarez
You ok, @Master ? You seem to have left mid-sentence.
My thoughts about Cotto-Canelo-Floyd-Pac:
Three out of these four fighters have had long, illustrious, classic fight-filled careers. The three are already destined for the HOF, which they so justly deserve. IMO, these three are entitled to set conditions.... to have that advantage in the negotiations.... to command the lion's share of the proceeds. They've earned it.
This is why Floyd-Pac has been so difficult to make. Because Floyd and Pac are two of those three fighters. Whether you're a Floyd fan or a Pac fan, you shouldn't begrudge the other guy's right to make demands.
Only one guess as to who the third guy is.
One hundred lashes with a wet noodle if you get it wrong. ;D
The odd man out has been built up from the very beginning through hype. Yes... he's good too. But even famous, fellow countrymen admit that he was brought up with a silver spoon. That he draws so much is as much a factor of ethnic populations as it is about anything else. But the other guys are draws too. So much for that.
Re: Cotto denies deal with Alvarez
Cotto wants to keep his options open.... GGG, Mayweather, Alvarez, Taylor, etc...
Cotto may have 3 more solid fights left in him. He doesn't have much time to make up his mind, however.
;D

You could be right but Cotto took the chances against Segio and he may beleive he has a better vhanace against Saul than Floyd who has already beat him. So it could work the other way.
Cotto is top of the tree and has many options but he has earned it. :)
