Mayweather / Gatti. I actually felt sorry for Gatti in this fight, totally outclassed and was getting destroyed.

I really thought about putting this fight in the thread.- good call.
Especially when Roger Mayweather in between rounds, looked at the camera and said:
Roger: "I told ya'll he was gonna get his ass whooped ..............................On H... B... O;D

Roy Jones vs Vinny Pazienza
I think it was the first time Compubox scored a round where an opponent didn't land anything.

Yeah. Vinny had that air about him that I wanted to see deflated by about 1,000 psi.
RJJ took care of that in super impressive fashion.

Roy Jones vs. Richard Hall. What a beating Hall took. I have that on VHS.

Vinny had the lamest excuse I ever heard for losing that one: he drank bad cappuccino. Too funny. Said he crashed when the caffeine and sugar wore off.
Re: Best/Worst Beatdowns!
Oscar vs Mayroga was a great beat down. Mayroga talked ridiculous trash about Oscar in the build up (like he does for all of his fights). Oscar landed that monster counter left hook early and stood over Mayorga who had a look of defeat. Classic moment.

LMFAO!
I didn't know that.
I just remember seeing the fight and marveling at how many accurate punches Roy could throw in quick succession.
But I don't think the caffeine and sugar wore off.
I think they were beaten out of him.

Aaron Davis beat him into an unrecognizable mass of hamburger too. Landed everything he even thought of throwing. Paz was always up for sticking his face into a blender.
Had to rewatch John John Molina over Tony Lopez 2. What a thrashing. Oscar Larios v McCullough 2. Nasty.
Re: Best/Worst Beatdowns!
* Danny 'Little Red' Lopez over Ruben Olivares
* Andy Ganigan over Sean O'Grady
* Rocky Lockridge over Roger Mayweather
