It was the left hook that finished him. And it was decent shot because you could see sweat fly when he hit him. I have taken ear shots before and they hurt like hell, so it is possible that it was legit. Either way it is nice to see someone talking about an American heavyweight again even though his 15 minutes are almost up.

Liston was 32 when he won the title so what's your point? Besides Williams and Foley who the heck were the rest of the bunch? Boxing has its anomalies and when Wilder fights I'm sure you will be watching as will most of us. I know you did not mention Liston but I'm using him as an example. 15 minutes and counting and it should be fun while it last.
