Floyd has to READ over the contract terms. He'll have a response by next month.
I think it'll definitely happen this time around because both guys are at the end of their rope and realize it's now or never, and with the losses Pac took I think at this point he'll agree to just about anything to get the fight done.
This fight is going to happen. Everybody wants it to happen really, they're just arguing over the split, whether it's the fighters or Top Rank and Haymon or HBO and Showtime. But they'll eventually all come to an agreement because there's so much money to be made and very few decent options for either guy if they don't fight each other. It'll get announced eventually.
That sounds like a bitter Roy right there. He wasn't exactly kicking in the door to clean out a division when hbo handed him the keys to the castle to white wash mandatories. The first Mayweather v Maidana was pretty dern entertaining, and that's hard to say when it comes to Floyd :-X
I'm a huge Roy fan but I have to admit that he was more than one title defence where he was just on autopilot, going through the motions, and it was less than compelling to watch.
I think Floyd is past the point where he's going to put on dazzling performances. He's made it 18 years without a loss, he has two fights left so the name of the game is winning.
It is all on Floyd now. No excuses.
True, RJJ didn't fight all we've asked, but in terms of his beef- Yeah RJJ at times clowned around and still dominated for his fans. Danced a bit, threw 4 left hooks daring a counter and the behind the back knockout will probably never be reproduced.
PBF is all business in the ring, he doesn't take chances doing silly stuff in the ring. He ensures his victories by taking care of business.
But, RJJ makes so much sense to me when asking why now?
Me too. Morales fight I- proved he can be thoroughly out boxed. JMM has knocked him out cold.
Honestly: if/when he fights Pac and beat him won't Pac fans be justified to scream....it was an old Pac. A younger version would have done different?
Really?

I know, shit site but this has had me concerned. When one side is quiet and the other side says they don't want to negotiate in the media but have talked about venue, gloves, split, date etcetera. Meanwhile HBO/Showtime haven't even struck a deal so WTF is this contract that has been signed? You don't think it looks bad at all? When people's words don't match their actions(saying they shouldnt talk but talking talking talking) I begin to have doubts.
To non-Pac fans maybe, but serious Ron...Pacfans blame PBF. PBF fans blame Pac.
I blame both of em...and as far as I am concerned When Floyd wants to fight someone- he will do it. Yet he retired at one point claimed he was done.. so Pac, Rito or Paul can't be the blamed for that. He quit..so he told us...
His dad has gone on record saying don't fight Pac...then they spent a year or two questioning how Pac got knocked out as a rookie, then got better as he got older, why his head got bigger, hell Roger said he knew the shit he was taking and called it A-sde meth...really rog?
...While I understand their points, the end is...that shit is just exuses.
No way Floyd really wanted the fight, but couldnt make it happen.
I stand to say the same: No way does a 2015 fight hold the same steam as it would have several years ago. Floyd dropped JMM and JMM knocked Pac out cold, I'll watch it, but it aint the same now.
Is this the year they fight, or is it like the girl you loved 10 years ago she was a babe, and
10 years on she looks a bit of a dog.!!!!;D
