This is a fine fight. Sure, we'd prefer Garcia-Thurman, but this is absolutely fine. Maybe we see the winner of Garcia-Peterson against the winner of Broner-Molina?

143 from what I understand. Apparently Garcia intends a jump to full welter 1lb at a time and Pederson wants to be champ regardless of what actually happens in the ring???
Its a fine match, but the cw for the sake of re pawning a trinket wears thin.

Lamont just did this against Matthysse. They made it 141 so Matthysse would not lose his place in line with the Wbc and Garcia and Lamonts belt was not on the line. History really does repeat itself. Nice little scam these two have going on. What should be a 3 belt unification contest in now a meaningless scrap that actually does nothing for either mans position.
