Eric, regarding the Holmes V Ali fight, you need to ignore Bill Paxtom. He talks almost as much rubbish as you do! ;D;D;D;D;D

Re: lamest world title fight
~ Muhammad Ali vs. Jean-Pierre Coopman ~
Did anybody really believe this 'garbage' was a World-Class bout for Heavywieght Champion
of the World.
Jean-Pierre wasn't even rated in the Top 15. He was given a 'mercy rating' of #16 by
the WBC to make him look respectable.
CBS-Sports did their best to make this bout interesting, by stating that Muhammad Ali
only trained for 1-Week.
Brent Musberger {CBS-Sports} >
"They tell me that Jean-Pierre is one tough cookie. He's called 'The Lion of Flanders', and
that must mean something."
"His sparring spessions have been closed to the public. They must have a secret plan."

Ok Bill , so what was the reason for editing? let me help you out here, was it so you could turn it into a heap of Paxtom style Horseshit as per usual ? fair play, you are priceless, definitely the funniest guy on this forum! ;D
Re: lamest world title fight
Box/Rec is incorrect with their listing of Jean-Pierre Coopman's height.
Jean-Pierre Coopman stood at 6' 0 1/2" > not the 5 11 1/2" that Box/Rec listed.
His Reach was > 75".
They gipped the 'Lion of Flanders' of an Inch.
Also, Jean-Pierre spoke 'Flemish' in Belgium.
Re: lamest world title fight
Muhammad Ali vs. Chuck Wepner
The greatest disgrace.

In terms of boxing wlad would dominate the top 10 list of lamest world title fights
1 wlad v provetkin
2 wlad v peter
Etc etc
Re: lamest world title fight
I just wrote provetkin and my spell checker changed it to probe glove
Interesting that innit
