Looks like it's the BBC who will suffer the most as Top Gear is officially the most watched tv show on the planet.

Re: Jeremy Clarksons waiter interview - what Really happened
Clarkson will go on to be even more successful than he has been. The BBC lose their biggest show and money earner and the only non liberal lefty show they have, making them an even bigger target for the people who want to shut them down. A bunch of utter fucking idiots from the idiot who complained about a little punch and the idiot who was desperate to sack Clarkson. They've made Clarkson look good by comparison.

It'a a pretty sad state of affairs when a fucking TV presenter, causes more fuss than 160
people getting killed by a lunatic.
Come on people lets put things into perspective, Clarkson is hardly worth talking about and
some idiot make a death threat, because he gets the push what a bunch of A holes.:vd:

Clarkson is far more relevant to British people than a bunch of foreigners and one or two Brits getting ploughed into a mountainside by some nutter. He's a cultural touchstone for millions of people. I watched the Argentina Top Gear show on holiday with about a hundred ex-pats in a bar. It was on a big screen like a football game. When the FKL 928 came on the screen the whole place went mental. Everybody up on the tables, singing and dancing, guys spraying champagne like they'd won a Grand Prix. They had to rewind the show and start it again and when the car came on for the second time the whole place went up again even longer than the first time. It was one of the highlights of the holiday. :)
