It's all a part of mind games both sides have been playing around with these days. I don't know which side this one is coming from though. Floyd's camp has been spreading words that he'll knock the heck out of Pac, which translated means just the opposite: I'm afraid he will go into his forte, getting into his defense shell and throwing pot shots. Pac's camp has been saying the same thing too but with a different purpose: I think they really believe that Floyd is scared and trying to play up on it. If you're smart like ruthless rocky, just don't believe in these stuffs.

Hard to take any of it seriously. Could be true, could be bullshit, could be mind games, who knows.

Scarfing 3 Big Macs in a yoga class. No I cannot see him hurt in the body at all.
Re: Judah denies that he decked Floyd in Sparring recently!
It never happened. Judah is far too old and worn out to put anyone down especially in sparring. Hype.

I think he decked Floyd.
Judah is a poster child of a good fighter who had it all to be great but his mind never let him get over the hurdle to be greatness.
of course you do, you'd probably believe it if they told you that Pacquiao put a hurting on Golovkin also
Well, because Floyd does not ever let the media into his sparring sessions, no one would ever know. The last time the media was in the gym to see him spar was against Spadafora, and he was handled real well.
Sparring is different, depending on the type of sparring, than a real fight. One fighter can be on offense all the time, the other on defence... it could be a "soft" touch and go sparring session, or an all out hard fight in sparring.
So, EVERYONE is dropped at least once or twice in their career- in the amateurs, the gym training, or in a real fight.
If this notion that Judah dropped Floyd came out, I am more inclined to believe it because he actually dropped Floyd in their real fight; and for the mere fact is that is what sparring is for- to tune up, not to show an indication that you are there for a real fight.

yea cause everyone knows that sparring matches are "more intense" than an actual fight...
Judah hasn't done shit in the last 3 years other than beat up a never was prospect and then get his ass whooped by Malignaggi and Garcia, neither being on the level of Mayweather, a guy who's only been seriously hurt by a heavy handed Mosley

This is boxing... anything can happen. Who would have thunk that Judah would be the first person to legitimately drop Floyd in a real fight?
Judah is good for no more than 5 rounds of stiff competition, even to this day. I believe he dropped Floyd.
Re: Judah denies that he decked Floyd in Sparring recently!
nob ed started the rumour, him and manny are fighting for the lime light in the build up and now everyones talking about the bellend
Re: Judah denies that he decked Floyd in Sparring recently!
I don't see it as impossible. Judah has targeted the body more as he got older because it keeps his head out of range of counters when he stays low.
As for floyd.. he was previously injured in sparring once before. (cant remember which fight but was wearing a rib cushioning pad for the rest of camp. He claimed a sparring partner hit him incorrectly or an incorrect spot. I've seen sparring partners been given specific instructions but truthfully and honestly .. if its legal and it landed. its fair game. So its conceivable that he's susceptible to body shots. There's room in the philly shell to work the body especially if you fake them into guarding high. Jab high hook low and take the body. Depending on how hes bladed, it can land behind the elbow or partially on the liver area. It's not impossible. For someone like Judah, its manageable to reach back and pull something slick out of yesterday.
Sparring partners remain mum. It's an unwritten rule for professionally sparring with someone (just like some partners taking their foot off the gas and lose the last match of camp so the Champ goes in to the fight on a mental high.) If you knock down the the champ, you say nothing.. or "lucky shot, champ" and stay humble unless you are asked about it (was it deliberate, how'd you spot it?) or you could go home early. Some trainers like having someone around who will make their fighters work. Others not so much, if they have a fighter who can lose focus...
Anyone's guess if this happened or not, but it is possible. Not often talked about.
