Matthysse by late tko. Provodnikov gets stopped due to his face breaking up unless he can get to matthysse early.
Matthysse proved his power when he fought Peterson , Provodnikiv will come to him , I see a war for 4 rounds then Matthysse lowers the boom.
But I must say I don't remember a more exciting matchup for many years.The winner must fight Maidana , for another classic !!!!!!

Mathyse might be a little more tactically aware of the two and has the ability to adapt abit better. If he doesn't engage and uses the ring to walk ruslan onto shots that's his best chance. His power vs peterson looks even better now after last weekends fight between lamont & garcia
Having said I do think ruslan is mentally stronger. He will not take a backwards step but after Mathyses loses he's learnt he isn't indestructable. Provo gave tim Bradley the beating of his career and he was a top p4p fighter.
So hard to call but if ruslan doesn't mark up and gets stopped on damage I give him the edge as the man is relentless. Will not be denied

Leaning towards Prod here. He looks be each outing. I felt bad seeing him beat my favorite fighter Alvarado ( is he in jail yet) but he did it in impressive fighting. Lucas is the perfect fight for Prod style wise, I don't think Prod is happy unless he gets hit. Not saying it will be a blow out in any way but Prods skills are on the incline, I expect improved defence and refined offence and a more menacing come forward face. He certainly has one of the more terrifying expressions when he is coming at you. He scares me and I'm 3000 miles away from him. Damn this should be a good fight.
