So rather than circling away from a power hand which is probably not going to be used aggressively, you turn him so he has to punch across his own body. Turn him and catch him with as many shots to his flank as hes shuffling away from you. (Just make sure you dont hit the kidneys--or floyd will embellish and bayless will get on you) . The in the second stage of the fight, mayweather will adapt and you'll have to find other offense. If hes working out of the shell you have other offensive opportunities as a southpaw.
5 years ago I had Mayweather winning this fight. Now i have mayweather winning this fight. It came down to a fundamental difference between the two fighters. Mayweather changes on the fly and pacquiao wont. He has to go back to the corner and confer with freddie. Pac cannot win this fight with just one style, static, offensive secret, unless he lands THE SHOT that ends it. But mayweathers ring IQ will give him the opportunity to change up first, steal points, and wind rounds while pacs trying to figure out why what hes doing is not working. Pac just cant afford mayweather time to think.
