NEW YORK (CNN) -- Billionaire businessman Donald Trump has a plan to pay off the national debt, grant a middle class a tax cut, and keep Social Security afloat: tax rich people like himself.
Trump is proposing a one-time "net worth tax" on individuals and trusts worth $10 million or more.
Trump would exempt the value of an individual's principal home from the net worth total.
"By my calculations, 1 percent of Americans, who control 90 percent of the wealth in this country, would be affected by my plan," Trump said.
"The other 99 percent of the people would get deep reductions in their federal income taxes," he said.
Eliminating the national debt would save the federal government $200 billion a year in interest payments, Trump said. He proposes to earmark half the savings for middle class tax cuts, and the other half for Social Security.

Donald J. Trump
He fights in what he believes in 'at the time'.
He would rather go down fighting for a cause, then lay down like Mitt Romney.
Mitt Romney 'choked', and Mr. Trump called him out on that.

He is shitting himself more over a recently escaped drug kingpin who just threatened Trumps life than he is anyone with a D or R in front of a name. If any Republicant had a set of grapefruits and identity Trump would be a punch line to a bad TV skit right now...again.

That escape was brilliant. One mile long tunnel out of the prison with ventilation and electricity. I don't think the Mexicans can keep Floyd Choppo locked up.

Even now he's talking about imposing huge fines on businesses who ship American jobs abroad to make products sold in America. That's the government interfering with the free market and free trade. If the Kenyan socialist had done something like that we'd never have heard the end of it. But it doesn't seem to have put Trump supporters off him.
