Pure filth in my book.
My 2 favourite fighters which is why I hate you. :)
WOW.
You are really SHALLOW.
I'm sure you can just see yourself sharing a 'Foxhole' with the both them in some part of the jungle in Vietnam,
discussing politics, while sharing a piece of Rat meat.
There is no one I would want more than these guys as back up in any fight.
By fight you don't mean an armed conflict of course.
A classic statement. Worth being etched in stone..........Two Thumbs Up !
Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
Amir Khan and probably Carl Froch...........who am I kidding, DEFINITELY Carl Froch!
Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
For those who chose Muhammad Ali
Do you honestly believe he would support you, if you had a 'slight' difference of opinion from his.
Go ask 'Malcolm X' how his friend Cassius Clay stood by him, and watched his back.

Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
The trouble with boxing and the nature of the sport is that, somewhere down the line, even the fighters you hate the most end up earning your respect.
I hated Chris Eubank for a very long time, but that guy really could fight and had one hell of a heart. When he stepped in the ring against Calzaghe as a washed up shadow of his former self and fought Joe toe to toe like a true warrior, I had to admire him and I really did want him to win.
It's often only when a fighter retires that you start to really admire them. Eubank was kind of fun and good for boxing and I like him now more than ever, even if he is still a complete dickhead. I didn't much like Naz back in the day either, but he was a great fighter who always put on a show. He took the MAB defeat much better than I expected to as well. He was pretty humble about it, which came as a surprise. Had he carried on fighting I would have been behind him.
Of the current crop, I could never see myself supporting Mayweather. Not in a million years.

He was right about no man ever beating him he just never reckoned on it being a lying hooker that brought him down
Ike was certainly no angel but neither was he the evil monster some people try to say he was.. Ike really suffered the fall out from Tyson's rape conviction, also a bum rap in my opinion.
The man I felt most sorry for was Curtis Cokes a great trainer & one of the good guys in boxing. Its every trainers dream to train the Heavyweight Champion of the World
Curtis transformed Ike from a crude brawler to almost the perfect boxer/puncher he was the natural successor to Lennox Lewis. It was a tragedy the way it played out Ike had the world at his feet

Jeez Bill your hatred of Ali is really an obsession. Your now blaming Ali for the assassination of Malcom X ????
Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
It's hard to say that I couldn't support a fighter but probably arreola because I hate fat HWs. Also, he just seems super annoying

Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
I understand that life is about opportunity and taking the chances you are given in life but there is something about Julio Cesar Chavez Junior's delusions of entitlement that leave me absolutely disgusted.
Could never ever support that guy.
Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
I find it difficult to support Tony Ayala, even in replays. Adonis Stevenson is another and I've never felt the same about Evander Holyfield since the 'Evan Field' stuff.
However, as an example of my hypocrisy, I do support other fighters with long criminal records:confused:
Re: Name a fighter you would never support.
I am not really sure what it means to support a fighter. Unless you travel and go to watch all his fights then surely you are just a fan anyway. I don't really care much for the antics and attitude of Eubank Sr and Jr, and if Jr got put on his arse or sparked out I can't deny that it would be quite satisfying and pretty funny, if only to see his petulant face afterwards, but the reality is, if he got back up after a knockdown then It actually makes him more of an underdog and as a Brit I would respect him for it and like anyone else enjoy an upsetting of the applecart. If Cotto gets beaten by Canelo, I wouldn't shed any tears but I have enough respect for him as a fighter that I can appreciate his ability to win even if as a person, he is a complete dick.
A loss is sometimes a great way to gain support once fans have seen who they perceive as arrogant or coddled, or simply a bloke with a grating personality, get knocked down a peg or two. (Didn't really work for Broner though ;D )
In no particular order
Tyson Fury
Carl Frampton
Mayweather
Eubank Jr
Wladtopus
Larry Olibajuicedgrass
Dame Michelle Cotto
Chavez Pinkspeedos Jr
Marco "ow my eyes hurt" Huck
Arthur Abraham
Tony "my mouth is so much bigger than my bomber nickname" Bellew
Timothy "Hammer Head" Bradley
Lamont Peterson
Orlando Salido
I think I 'll stop now :-X ;D
