Re: Provodnikov v Broner!?
Voiding any catchweight games and other bull$hit, Broner does move his feet enough to avoid provo for 10 rounds. Broner would need to be first and last in every exchange. I see him being first but getting caught last. It would seriously be in his best interests if Matthysse took some of the starch out of provo..
Re: Provodnikov v Broner!?
Talk about timing..Broner confirms TBA date for Oct.3 and Provo puts this on his page ;D :-X Damn Prov

I hope Prov beats the hell out of him. Easily my favourite current fighter!

Naw, He needs to get as much money as he can before he hits journeyman status.
I see him getting fat as fuck like his father in his retirement fight.
Re: Provodnikov v Broner!?
This is a great fight, back Provo as well but you never know how he's going to hold up with the kind of fights he's been in. Broner ofc has taken some punishment as well now, but he generally stays dangerous late in fights and he won't have trouble landing big shots here. Could be a real war.

Undisputed- gotta disagree with you on the foot movement. He has zero footwork. What he does- is rush from one side of the ring-where he lays on the rope-like-a-dope to the other side of the ring-then lay on the rope-some-mo'.
Unlike Bradley- who throws combinations well, Broner is the antehesis- looking to potshot with no upper body movement.
I don't think he's tough- he's stupid. But hey- we all get to watch him get pounded on- and occasionally land a thudding shot.
Fights like this- will turn him into speech-slurrer. Sad, but true Oh, War Prov!!!!
Re: Provodnikov v Broner!?
Didn't see a thread on Prov vs Rodriguez last week. I just watched it & thought that Ruslan looked pretty good.
He did a good job of moving his head and getting underneath a LOT of punches. Great body work.
If he does meet Broner- I think he will fair a lot better than what it looks like on paper
What was weird- the crowd was too silent.

Just reread my comment. and was like . Good catch on the typo. There should have been a "n't" on that does. hehehehe. Sometimes the words come out so fast i forget to proof read before I sign out.
P.S. Broners stance is too wide and his tendency to lean back and away could leave him a sitting duck for that provo bomb that arcs over the top. Provo cop could rack up some brutality charges here.

Thanks for that! This did go totally under the radar, shame really as Provo is all excitement. Mixed well to head-body in combo, not too many single bombs. Be interesting to see where he lands next fight. If somehow he gets Broner I cannot see Broner having anything to dissuade him. Still far to stationary.
