Viloria has to stay in the habit of getting off first. Gonzalez doesn't really counter all that much and seems to accept 'taking turns' if he is beat to offence.
Gonzalez probes with his feet while Viloria is a bit more feely-feely with the jab so if he can get a good feel for Gonzales without holding his feet for too long then he can limit Gonzalez's attacks. Viloria doesn't really respond too well to pressure and usually shuts off from punching when being punched at (and is not so eager to 'take turns') so it's not too hard too see that he will wind up getting pressured and pummelled in to submission.
