Yes he should. Do you think him whining about Floyd running was the better choice?

Not sure what bumming up to him means.

Re: Berto: "I didn't know I was gonna have to wear track shoes"
I've never seen this running that all his opponents complain about when they cant win a round. A default answer for all of those who thought they were much better then they are in comparison to the guy and all of their believers. Its either that or apparently the person was shot. Never seen any evidence at all over the years and I've seen every fight since Tony Pep. Someone needs to produce some evidence because this is being passed around now through generations. Its the new answer for people who wont stand in front of you. Ironically when he chooses to he actually carves you up so.....
Floyds favourite pass time is not standing in the pocket and engaging. I'm sure that factors in to why he's never lost and had such a long career. He makes you miss and then makes you pay and when you attempt a return he's not there. Thats boxing.
Re: Berto: "I didn't know I was gonna have to wear track shoes"
Mayweather's a runner and he does not deserve to be mentioned among the greats. A drug user at that, he should be investigated.
Re: Berto: "I didn't know I was gonna have to wear track shoes"
Thats not evidence of either charge or anything at all. That is just gossip mixed in with urban legend.

Yup. He runs...his punches on opponents faces while his opponents throw punches all over the place only to miss him.
Go to Wikipedia and search for the word "boxing". There you will see some boxing fundamentals such as bobbing, weaving, ducking, dodging, making opponents miss, blocking, shoulder roll, foot work, stance, cutting corners, etc. which new casual boxing fans confuse with "running". Unless you think a good boxer is the one who stands still and lets opponents hit him. Google "best boxing defense" and tell me who's name appears in the lists.

There was a time when Floyd stood in the pocket and avoided punches and countered consistently. He's regressed tremendously in that aspect (due to age). He's has been taken more shots in the box as of late (Cotto fight was a clear indication). Now, he makes more of a effort to create space and play more cat and mouse.
