They say that taking 50/50 would have been a bad deal, that they can do better. Funny, because it was them asking for 50/50. Maybe in the future they can do better. But they have now admitted they are outright liars.
What about the 164? Ward is the one that did all the yacking. Oh I know brother, the Dawson fight was legit but such a move for Ward would be unfair even though he said he could make 160 for Floyd.

I listened to the In the Ropes podcast with guest Virgil Hunter last week and he said something interesting. He said that he wouldn't allow Ward to move up to 175 and take on Kovalev without a number of fights at 175 to settle into the weight.

It is sensible, you do need time to get the weight on properly and you can't expect to go straight into the weight above and beat the best guy in the division. So why would GGG go straight up to SMW To fight Ward in his first fight at the weight ??
