Thought I'd revive this thread seeings how I'm drinking alone again, thought to myself I'll get myself a bottle and have a wee dram before ordering a meal, half way down the bottle now and I don't actually want my food to arrive cuz once I've eaten I'll be unable to continue my drink.
Its been fucking great, awesome company and and quality music, the perfect night if you ask me

everythings coming up batman at the minute, meal delivered and they sent a chicken tikka masala instead of the chicken tikka naga that I asked for, I gave them a quick bell and they have sent me my correct meal, in the process I have clattered half of the tikka masala (not my usual meal, I only normally like hot curries) but it was fucking lovely.
Hasn't fucked up my drinking mood either so I'm gunna get back on the Rum and slowly pick at my unwanted masala and save my chicken tikka naga for when I go round to watch the fight with me dad tomorrow.
with the best will in the world there is every chance that Fury is going to get outclassed and we will have to endure 12 rounds of utter shite and grabbing and hugging I thought I'd talk the fight up to my dad and convince him that he should pay for it...I'm going round there to watch it for free

back then it was a bottle of Mount Gay, decent stuff but not the best I've had, and £40 a bottle isn't all that much, jesus a bottle of Kraken will set you back £30

I can't complain though, its like the budgie.
I only realised that its christmas now though, that means I've gotta stock up on a couple of bottles of gingerbread rum from Marks & Sparks, thats some good shit especially for the price

Never had Mount Gay, but £40 is roughly equivalent to about $60, and that's ungodly expensive for a good bottle of rum. Caribbean rum goes for far less than that, and you've got some vintage, aged stuff that'll be sure to tickle the palate.

Don Q Gran Añejo: a bit under $50. Vintage Puerto Rican rum.
I'm not a Captain Morgan fan myself, unless I'm looking for a flavored rum, or for some mixes.
But I can understand why rum would be expensive over there, as it's not produced anywhere near your area.
