Literally boil them for only 1 or 2 minutes, then fry up some pancetta lardons (smoked bacon if you can't /don't know where to get pancetta.) put in some Chestnut puree, add the sprouts and a little bit of stock(I use a Porcini stock cube I get from Italian deli's or Carluccio's). Reduce down the stock, add a (big) knob of butter, turn the heat off and toss it all so the Butter melts in the residual heat. bit of pepper, not too much salt as the Pancetta has plenty and Boom! you're done.
(have a fresh pair of pants ready for when you come in the ones you're wearing!) ;D
Re: Foods you've never AND won't ever try
or, if you don't fancy that, if you've got a blender with a slicing attachment, or a Mandolin , slice the sprouts real fine and fry them up , again with some Bacon Lardons , onions maybe even some shredded sage leaves.
Re: Foods you've never AND won't ever try
you know I might actually give it a go

Yes I have never really enjoyed alfalfa sprouts or some of those other green Sprouts sold in the gourmet-style Farmers Market type of Yuppie hippie New Age California Crystal worshipping kind of Tutti Frutti granola bar people establishments
You must be one of those tough guys that eat raw oysters right out of the shell?

Got some "fresh" black drum fish from a friend over the weekend. Truly forgot how nasty that could be if not prepared. Might as well have been eating dirt
