Ricardo Lopez fought 18 fights against fighters with losing records or against fighters with no record because they were fighting their debut fights!!
Please show me the substance in that record!!

You're right, this record thing is bullshit. He doesn't have to go 50-0 to be seen as higher in the ATG Rankings than Marciano, because he already is. So why does he need to break a non-record?

Lopez' 35th fight was against an opponent with a record of 4-0!
His 36th fight was against a guy with a record of 25-19-4!!!

I guess that's your idea of a record with substance?

In the second half of 1996 Lopez fought 3 guys in a row whose combined records were 28-9-1.

His record at the time was 44-0.

Talk about cherry picking your already padded record!!

If we are going to be picky about the definition of 'perfect', nobody named on this thread has a perfect record
