I think that was only exciting because people wanted to believe Peter was the next coming at heavyweight. I don't think i would like to sit through it again like i could do with Cotto - Torres, hatton - Tszyu, Corrales - castillo 1 and 2, Morales - Pac. Has this guy been living under a rock since lewis retired?
Re: Lets' be honest with ourselves!!
It is worse than what Y-K suggests, boxing truly has not had a superfight, on the scale of the 80/90s since Lewis/Tyson. Too few people had heard of Vitali, for it to be a worldwide superfight, on the scale of say Hagler/Hearns, Hagler/Leonard, Tyson/Spinks, Bowe/HolyfieldI, II and III or Tyson/HolyfieldII.
And if you consider Tyson as retired, then for the first time in its entire history; modern boxing does not have an active fighter, who is a household name around the entire planet.

OK...
Nothing of note has been on the tube in a good long while...everything was S***!
Put aside maybe Pacman-Morales II...everything has been sub-par.
What is a fight fan to do?

Wlad - Sam Peter
Sultan Ibragimov - Goofi
