Groves takes no chances in the last but will get the decision.
Groves is a quality Boxer with a huge variety of shots. But you can never be sure he isn't going to gas or get KO'd . Every time he takes a shot , you hold your breath.
But make no mistake, he is class. Interesting what he says is next .
Yeah Groves Jab is a real weapon, super fast too but against a puncher he's vulnerable and seems to lose concentration at times, Staggers forward a bit and can seem wide open.
Tough German fighting the last few rounds with one eye but Groves did really well and impressed me.
He's proving a decent trainer is Shane McGuigan, really clam in the corner too.
Andrew Selby next. This guy is moving up the ladder very quickly.
Dunno why they're not trying to get shows in Wales with him and his Brother heading them. They could go viral!
Selby is world class. Brilliant fighter.
Good little card this evening, Groves looking good, though maybe wanted to KO Gutknecht. Good performance all in all, although it looks like Gutknecht collapsed in the changing room after the fight and is currently in hospital. Hope he is okay, I'm sure we will find out as soon as they release anymore info.
Selby looking good, he's not really been troubled by anyone so far, and doesn't look like many guys want in between the ropes with him. Would love him and Lee to be double heading a bill when they have two world titles. However, because of personalities, Lee especially being quite shy and quiet outside the ring, I'm not sure they can really pack out a stadium like Joe C did in his heyday. I do reckon they could make some good small to medium halls fill out though, maybe the CIA or the Ice Arena Wales in Cardiff (both 3-5k I would imagine.)
