He has a few good fights in him and he could beat very good boxers, perhaps not the elite like Kovalev (obviously) or Ward, but he could beat some decent names. I am sure we'll see him against Stevenson very soon; here in Montreal, it would sell like crazy, there is rivalry between the two and both are pretty much at the end of their career, especially Stevenson who will turn 39 very soon.
If I was him, I'd only return if I could get a fight with Adonis "Quack Quack" Stevenson.
That bout would be massive in Canada & an easy sell.
Actually, it's not that much that Stevenson is a chicken rather than GYM, his promoter, knows that what's at stake is huge and they do want to milk Stevenson as much as possible before his last hurrah. He'll fight Kovalev, everybdy wants to see it... once they know that he has nothing remaining in him and that it's his last big big payday. And that's sad that it works that way.Quote:
