Clay was a pup of a hw , that why the 12 stone 11 cooper knocked him down.
He was however the greatest coward muslim of all time.
Do not even go there. Ali gave up his title and millions for his belief that takes courage and conviction. Nothing to do with being afraid.
Re: Famousest Journeyman KD of Prospect
Remember young De La Hoya being bounced off the canvas by a couple guys brought in to fall over early in career.

Yes he gave up the right to be looked at in the same light as great champions like Joe Louis who didn't dodge the draft.
He chose to be muslim not American , typical hypocrite.

That's rubbish. First off if you can't appreciate the difference between WW2 and Vietnam then I don't really know what to tell you. Aside from that, Joe Louis never saw combat(though he might well have been willing to, I'm not sure). He fought charity exhibition bouts in order to entertain the troops and raise morale. Ali could have quite easily done the same thing, there was no chance he would have been deployed for action in any scenario. The stance he took required a lot more courage than doing that would have, and it had nothing to do with his being a Muslim, which wasn't seen as any more abrasive than being black was in those days in America.

Clay would never have been sent to the front line either , the fact is he abandoned his country for his religion.
Re: Famousest Journeyman KD of Prospect
Can we stick Floyd Cummings poleaxing Frank in here? I know he never actually went down but that was purely due to the Moons position in relation to Jupiter or some shit, he was out.
Cummings only had 22 fights and Frank was the last on his journeyman road. He'd already been beaten by a handful of other names.
