He is a puncher therefore will be flat footed and maybe lack of head movement.
I have seen no major weaknesses.
If I am correct though, he did beat Kovy when they were both amateurs. IT's always hard to know where these young promising stars will go as often, a bump on the road derail everything but on papers, he's really good and promising, admitting that he keeps the same pace.

Yes he has beaten him and that is how they would sell the fight if they did face one another.

Stevenson could do with getting involved tho
It's Mikey Garcia for me, I want to know his next move.
I agree, I was very interested in what Garcia is going to look like continuing his career. I wish I could say the same for Spence at this point, but for right now. I'm just not seeing him often enough with those measuring stick type opponents. As for Beterbiev, I think he have been a little more anxious to get in the mix at 175. Not saying Kovalev should dictate this guys career but everyone knows Kovalevs drying out on the vine while Beterbiev isn't really stepping up till recently. (Strangely enough i think the next fight will tell us more about Barrera than it will about Beterbiev)
issue with Garcia is is that i don't think the division is as interesting
he could be miles better than beterbiev lb4lb but whos he gonna fight that's a top level fight? the linarez crolla winner?

There's Linares. Lomachenko. He could go to 140.
Re: Weaknesses in Beterbiev.
Looks like Beterbiev's side won the purse bid. There is talk of the fight being held in NY on the possible Stevens-Smith card so at least it won't fall over with Barrera not being able to fight in Canada. I still won't be surprised if Duva pulls out of this. Apparently Barrera will only be making around $60k for the task of taking on Beterbiev
Re: Weaknesses in Beterbiev.
Who is Beterbiev likely to fight War/Kov winner or Stevenson or win a title in his own right?

I think he targets the Ward/ Kovalev winner. If the IBF strips the belt he will get a shot at the vacant strap.
Re: Weaknesses in Beterbiev.
Garcia Loma would be very interesting indeeeeeeeed
I cant see loma being in any rush for that tho
