Both Southpaws, interesting... neither will enjoy the advantages they normally have over ortho fighters. Hope this doesn't turn into a snoozer because everyone's being cautious.
I would be surprised if it ended up being anything more than a semi entertaining fight.

It is good exposure for BJS and to get the winner of Triple G/Canelo.
Re: Saunders vs Andrade deal done
Decent enough match but all the makings of a snoozer. Andrade is solid but has shot himself in the foot career wise and should have taken the Charlo fight when it was there. Hearn almost has the feel of a Haymon scooping up some 'face' Americans to honestly come in as opponent role. I think it's a good move for Saunders with more U.S exposure in obvious already talked about lead to bigger fish to fry with other top middles sorting out. Now he just has to win, I just don't see Andrade doing much at middleweight.
Re: Saunders vs Andrade deal done
Andrade is just a slight step behind Saunders for me. His fight with Culcay showed some of his deficiencies.

It is called loyalty.
Bollocks Mate! we'll wait and see. Remember my prediction about McGuigan and Frampton ? seriously , you've got to stop believing in things like pots of gold at the end of the rainbow and Unicorns and loyalty in boxing.
What made you so cynical, bitter and twisted in life?
Just keeping it real Bro. ;)

To be fair, how many fighter/ promoter teams have had a long successful relationship? Pac/ Arum comes to mind.
Not really rocket science to figure out most turn sour at some point.
Re: Saunders vs Andrade deal done
Since it is often talked about I think the billion dollar deal should be clarified. It is a billion if it goes the full term. There are outs for DAZN and they are already exploring other options. Hearn is a great business man so he might be able to keep it full term but DAZN is supremely interested in the WBSS platform
Re: Saunders vs Andrade deal done
I agree it’s unlikely to be very entertaining, but interesting, I definitely don’t think BJS will have things all his way. Andrade will be the best boxer he’s been in with by quite a margin and he looks to make the same kind of fight. I haven’t seen his last couple mind you, but he hasn’t been any more inactive or hot and cold than Saunders was for a while.

I would assume the billion dollar number would be very dependent on how many new subscribers they get... By simple calculations dazn would need to have 520,000 subscribers just to pay for this deal(kept throughout the year too :S)... Can't see it lasting. Dazn are probably just trying to make their name famous.
I have dazn btw, its good, ditched the Canadian sports channels.

I'm impressed with Saunders' willingness to travel.

De Gale did it and made good money from it.

Andrade wins. Why? He's the better fighter
Re: Saunders vs Andrade deal done
Crap styles matchup but good for the division. Andrade is mentally weak and basically overrated on form although home advantage is masssive for him.
Saunders is clearly getting a relative fortune, Eddie isn't going to want his new project derailed at the first hurdle. He's doing his dough for a reason.
