He was born he and lived here for 12 years. The problem with your argument is that poor kids all over the country will have the being born in Britain is not enough to make you British used against them all their life. To want to claim you are not British after being born and brought up here is fine if you are an adult, but not very helpful if you are a kid.
Wasn't there some Jamaican roots on that family tree too? Not sure what part of that rubbed off over career but it may have been what helped him get caught adrift and coasting twice and sparked out ;D. No blankets to help when you're caught cold :-X.

Lennox is that talented he can do 3 accents when he does his interviews for Canadian, Jamaican and English TV.

I used to absolutely hate Mauro. I couldn’t stand him. I have gotten used to him though. He isn’t my favorite, but I don’t find him quite as annoying as before. He really gives no insight whatsoever. He is just fortunate that he has great commentators around him.

That was his go to comment for years working as a colour man. The commentator would tee him up with a comment about the fight that would give him the chance to explain some techical aspect of boxing or the fighter in the ring to the viewers and Lewis would just pause and say "absolutely". He's actually got much better at the job over the years.

LL has a high ring IQ, but doesn't have the ability to explain it. Some use the word dumb, to which he probably is.
LL IMO is a low IQ dude with millions and millions of dollars.

I recorded his last outing and thank goodness but really give him a break as I was having trouble sleeping. Knocked me right out and I woke up at nine the next morning U.S. Eastern time and I had coffee, oatmeal and two eggs over easy. I'm just glad we weren't boxing.

I think Lennox is just into the fights like a fan would be and he has to force himself to talk every once in a while as that's what hes being paid to do .... so the content/quality of what he says is going to suffer. Like your lady coming to you in the middle of watching a fight to tell you her feelings about what one of the neighbors did. Your going to give her a non definitive answer to fill the requirement that you heard what she said even if it doesn't help her at all (because you weren't really listening).
her: I don't like her planting a tree that close to our property line... i'm gonna kill her...
you: *staring intently at the screen* yeah, i don't know... Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, babe...
her: *rummaging through your kitchen drawer* "didn't we have a big knife?!?-- got it!!" *front door slams*
*Commercial between rounds* you: "WHAHH.. WAIT..." So, you run outside to stop a murder and find your lady out there hacking branches that are hanging over your side of the fence...
Lennox is getting paid for one of the best seats in the house..
